October a great month for malayalam movie

October 2009 is going to be known as one of the best month in the history of malyalam movie industry. Two great films- One for being the most expensive movie in malayalam so far and another one which is the output of the workforce of ten filmmakers will be released in this month. Along with these two director laljose under the banner of revathy kalamandir is bringing 1970’s trendsetter neelathamara in new colors.z

Pazhassi Raja which is released today the 16th of october is already giving great reports. Reports from the theaters say that the movie is having war scenes which can be compared to the quality of war scenes from hollywood. the movie is also dubbed in tamil,hindi and many other languages.

Kerala cafe which is scheduled to be released on the 29th of october is also expected to be one of the great milestones in the history of mollywood. Movie buffs in the state are waiting for the result of their favorite filmmakers competing to direct 10 segments in a single movie. All of the main stream malayalam artists agree to the point that keralacafe is a director’s movie. Ranjith the creator of last years favorite thirakatha is considered as the chief Architect of Keralacafe.

Now coming to Neelathaamara. Classic movie lovers and the youth of 70’s are waiting for neelathaamara to blossom after 40 years. It is also the beginning of a new trend in malayalam industry by making a low budget film with newcomers. Producer Sureshkumar who is the president of the malayalam producers association states that he is taking the daring initiative to make films with newbies which is considered as an attempt to fuel more low budget movies. Eventhough main actors and actrsses are new comers neelathamara is having the label of an M.T-Lal jose joint venture. Classic movie lovers and the so called Bhuji’s or the nerds in kerala.
