Kerala CafeĀ Review - A detailed one
For a Malyalam movie lover like me Keralacafe is altogether a differnt approach and feeling. Writing this review after watching keralacafe today at Savitha Theatre here in Ernakulam I”ll say this is first of its kind in Malayalam movie Industry. The movie is getting Positive review from every theatre in kerala. Different Story lines Different Life styles.A cross section of the society of kerala. Keralacafe is a journey through the life of kerala Keralacafe starts with B.Padmakumar’s Nostalgia starring Dilip and Navya Nair. A story depicting the lifestyle of a NRI and his love towards Kerala. Shankar Mahadevan’s Island Express followed…A story that goes takes malayalees to through the Perumon Train accident. A very different approach of presenting the story. Prithviraj is in the lead role. His apperance and dialogue presentation is superb. We can see a very differnt Prithvi here. Island Express is purely a great work by an emerging director. Shaji Kailas comes with Lalitham Hianmayam which is totally a different story. He newer handlesd such stories before. Suresh gopi plays the role of a man who is struggling between his wife and lover Director Uday ananthan’s Mrityunjayam followed ..A horror story happening in the background of an old Mana. Reema kallingal and newbie Fahd played their role very decently Fifth one was the outstanding work from a lady director - Anjali Menon .Happy Journey plays a story which tells how women respond to different situations differently. extremely well received by audiance.. This one grabbed most claps than the remaining 9. Jagathy’s acting is superb. B Unnikrishnan’s Aviramam.A story explaining how recession affects a kerala family.also tells the story of love between a husband and wife. Siddique and Swetha Menon were in the lead role and was looking great.. Huh!! I think i should stop here now… I will write remaining part of Keralacafe review in my next post.
